Locals Dalton Schultz, Simi Fehoko See Action During NFL Preseason Hall Of Fame Game
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Local players Dalton Schultz and Simi Fehoko of the Dallas Cowboys saw playing time during the NFL preseason Hall of Fame Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Cowboys and Steelers played each other in the first preseason game of 2021 in Canton, Ohio on Thursday, August 5.
During the contest, Schultz and Fehoko got time on gridiron for Dallas. It was the first NFL action for the rookie Fehoko.
The Steelers won the game, 16-3.

On Dallas’ first offensive possession of the game, Cowboys quarterback Garrett Gilbert connected with Schultz for a 15-yard reception.

With 1:21 remaining in the first half, Fehoko caught a four-yard pass from Cowboys QB Cooper Rush.
49ers GM John Lynch on Cowboys rookie WR Simi Fehoko, a fifth-round pick out of Stanford: “He’s a good player. We liked him a lot in San Francisco. He kind of hung around there in the draft. I think the Cowboys got a good one.”

The two plays were the only catches made by Schultz and Fehoko during the contest.

Fellow Cowboys and local players Bradlee Anae and Francis Bernard were inactive for the preseason game.
Dallas’ next preseason game is against the Arizona Cardinals on Friday, August 13 at 8 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on NFL Network.
