SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah football defensive tackle Devin Kaufusi announced on Thursday via social media that he has a NIL endorsement deal.
Devin Kaufusi is the first Utah football player to sign a NIL (Name, Image, Likness) deal since the NCAA allowed student-athletes to benefit from their name, image and likeness.
Kaufusi signed a deal with JAM Skateboards.
“Proud ambassador of JAM skateboards!” Kaufusi tweeted. “Order online or in store with discount code Kaufusi90, anyone who orders with the code, I’ll come sign your board!”

JAM Skateboard has a location in Provo, Utah, where Kaufusi’s family resides in the state of Utah. He is entering this second season with the Utes after transferring from BYU. The Provo, Utah native moved from defensive end to defensive tackle before the start of the 2020 season and has thrived at the position by cracking the rotation.
