Joe Ingles Has Big Performance For Australia In Exhibition Win Over Argentina

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard/forward Joe Ingles posted a big performance for the Australian National team in their exhibition win over Argentina.
Australia knocked off Argentina 87-84 on a buzzer beater by Patty Mills of the San Antonio Spurs. The game was played at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Ingles was the second leading scorer for the Boomers with 16 points, two rebounds and three assists, while shooting 5-of-13 from the field and 4-for-11 from the three-point line in 28 minutes.
Mills was the leading scorer with 17 points to go with his four rebounds and five assists on 6-of-16 shooting from the floor and 4-for-9 from beyond the arc. Philadelphia 76ers guard Matisse Thybulle posted 15 points off the bench, including a perfect 3-for-3 from the perimeter. Aron Baynes poured in 14 points and 8 rebounds.

Former Jazzman and current Houston Rockets guard Dante Exum played 16 minutes while scoring seven points, one rebound and three assists.
For Argentina, Luis Scola led the way with 25 points and eight rebounds on 9-of-18 shooting from the field and 4-for-9 from downtown. Denver Nuggets guard Facundo Campazzo chipped in 12 points and Luca Vildoza had 11 points.
Australia played their first of four exhibition games before beginning their Olympic run in Tokyo, Japan later this month.
