Jazz Guard Mike Conley Set To Miss Game 3 Against Clippers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz announced that guard Mike Conley will miss his third straight contest and won’t be available for Game 3 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Clippers are slated to host the Jazz at Staples Center for Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Saturday, June 12.
A few hours before tip-off, the Jazz announced that Conley was out of the lineup for Game 3, his third straight game with a mild strain of his right hamstring.
After playing in all five games of Utah’s first round series, Conley has yet to play in the semis against the Clippers.

During the regular season, Conley played in 51 of the possible 72 games on the schedule. He averaged 16.2 points per contest on 44.4 percent shooting. He also recorded 3.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.
In Utah’s first round matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies, Conley posted 17.4 points per game on 46.7 percent from the field. He added 3.8 boards, 8.6 assists, and 0.2 steals per game.
The veteran guard suffered the hamstring strain in Game 5 of Jazz/Grizzlies and only played 12 minutes in Utah’s series-ending win.

Utah currently owns a 2-0 series lead over L.A.
Game 3 between the Jazz and Clippers is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 12. The contest will tip-off at 6:30 p.m. (MDT) on ABC.
