Utah Volleyball’s Dani Drews Named To USA Collegiate National Team

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Volleyball announced that Dani Drews has been selected to the 2021 USA Collegiate National Team.
The players that were named to the USA Volleyball Collegiate National Team, including Dani Drews from Utah, were selected by the U.S. Women’s National Team staff and National Team Development Program. They will work with top volleyball coaches at USAV’s Anaheim training center.
This marks the second time that Drews was selected to the USA Collegiate National Team. The last time she was named to the team, all activities were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 28 players from 15 universities were selected and they will train from June 13-18.

Drews is one of seven Pac-12 players to be named to the National Team. She joins UCLA’s Zoe Fleck and Mac May, Oregon’s Brooke Nuneviller, Washington’s Marin Grote, Ella May Powell and Lauren Sanders.
Drews is coming off of a tremendous season in 2020-21, where she led the country in kills per set with 5.21, while being named an All-American for the third time and earning Pac-12 Player of the Year honors.
