Bogdanovic Drops 22 Points As Jazz Blowout Thunder

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic dropped 22 points in their big 109-93 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night on the road.
Bogdanovic shot 8-of-16 from the field and 2-for-5 from the three-point line. Mike Conley made his return after missing the last nine games due to injury. He finished with 10 points in 16 minutes. Rudy Gobert posted a double-double with 16 points and 18 rebounds. Jordan Clarkson poured in 18 points off the bench.
Svi Mykhailiuk led the Thunder with 18 points. Gabriel Deck and Theo Maledon each added 18 points. Those were the only three OKC players to score in double figures.

Jazz Cruise To Double-Digit First Half Lead
It was a great first quarter for the Jazz and they felt the presence of Mike Conley. Utah outscored Oklahoma City 30-20 in the first quarter. Bojan Bogdanovic and Royce O’Neale each scored six points. Jordan Clarkson and Mike Conley each added five points.
Oklahoma City was led by Theo Maledon with seven points.
The Thunder hung with the Jazz in the second quarter as Utah only outscored them by four points, 31-27 to take a 61-47 lead into the halftime break. Svi Mykhalluk dropped 11 points for OKC in just six minutes. Bogdanovic led the Jazz with seven points in the quarter. Bogey finished the first half with 13 points and Conley added 10. Mykhalluik poured in 17 first half points.
The Jazz were effective shooting the ball by making 52 percent from the field and 43 percent from the three-point line. Oklahoma City wasn’t too bad shooting the ball, going 42 percent from the floor and 40 percent from beyond the arc.

Jazz Blow Game Open With Big Third Quarter Against Thunder
After holding a 14-point lead at the half, the Jazz came out in the third quarter and outscored the Thunder 31-19. Bogdanovic had nine points while Rudy Gobert added 7 points.
The Thunder shot just 39 percent from the field in the third and Theo Maledon scored seven of their 19 points.
Quin Snyder emptied the bench in the fourth quarter and gave his starters and veterans more rest leading up to the Kings game on Sunday.
The Jazz improved their record to 51-20 on the season and still have the No. 1 spot in the Western Conference and the best record in the NBA. They will wrap up the regular season on Sunday, May 16 on the road against the Sacramento Kings. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. MDT and will be televised on AT&T SportsNet.
