HURRICANE, Utah – Tony Finau and Cameron Champ, otherwise known as Team Send It, continued their stellar form on Friday in an alternate shot format to be tied for the lead entering the weekend.

Today, they continued their remarkable form with five birdies and one bogey to catapult them up the leaderboard. Birdies fell on 2, 4, 10, 11, and 18 while the only bogey came on 12 after Finau failed to convert the 5-foot par putt after earlier missing the green to the right.
“I was really happy with how we played,” Finau said after his round concluded. “We drove it great and made some key putts on 13 and 14 to keep the momentum in our favor and yea, it was a huge round for us,” he added.
The pair have been known on the Tour as two of the longer hittest, which they have excelled at during the Zurich Classic so far. But, they have also been attacking pins and giving themselves great looks at birdie, which more often than not, they have been converting.
On holes 13 and 14, both Finau and Champ were wayward off the tee. But, solid scrambling led to two big par putts which they were both able to convert.
