Real Salt Lake’s Justen Glad Named To CONCACAF Best XI

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Real Salt Lake defender Justen Glad has been named to the CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament BEST XI.
Glad featured and started in three matches over the course of the tournament. Including the first two group stage games and the semifinal against Honduras. During the first two group stage games against Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, Glad played a key role in helping his country keep clean sheets in both contests.

former Real Monarchs striker Luis Palma of Honduras helped his country to a Summer Olympic berth with a second-place finish during the Mexico tournament. For his efforts, he was placed alongside Glad on the Concacaf Best XI squad.
Glad was joined by fellow teammates Aaron Herrera and David Ochoa. Furthermore, RSL striker Douglas Martinez helped his country Honduras qualify for an Olympic berth.
Glad, Ochoa, Herrera, and Martinez will join their teammates in Tucson, Arizona to further prepare for the upcoming season. During the 10-day stretch in Tucson, RSL will play in three practice matches against Colorado Rapids on April 3rd, Phoenix Rising on April 7th, and LA Galaxy on April 10th.
