Jazz Center Rudy Gobert Posterizes Grizzlies’ Jonas Valančiūnas

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz center Rudy Gobert threw down a highlight dunk over Grizzlies center Jonas Valančiūnas during the second half of Utah’s game against Memphis.
The Grizzlies hosted the Jazz at FedEx Forum on Wednesday, March 31.
With 7:55 to go in the third quarter, Joe Ingles dished the ball to a driving Gobert. The Jazz center collected the pass and powered through a foul by Valančiūnas for a powerful slam dunk.
Gobert went to the foul line and completed the three-point play with a free throw to give Utah a 63-61 lead.

At the end of the third quarter, the Jazz trailed 76-75.
Gobert had eight points on 3-5 field goals. He added seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, and a pair of blocks during the first 36 minutes of game time.

The Jazzman posted a plus-seven rating in his first 24 minutes on the hardwood.
