INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – You won’t find another team in the country who’s more hyped to take COVID-19 tests than BYU basketball. Since Monday, the Cougars have been here in Indianapolis, so they are likely getting restless staying on the 9th floor of the Westin hotel all day.
The wait will eventually be all worth it when the Cougars take the Hinkle Fieldhouse floor in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. But while they wait till tip-off, it’s a great chance to have some fun.
BYU released a hilarious video of them getting ready for another round of COVID-19 testing. The Cougars treated COVID-19 testing like it was a game night at the Marriott Center with starting lineup introductions.
For a second, while watching this video. I thought a white curtain dropped from a scoreboard with the P.A. announcer saying, “Cougar fans, it’s time. Lights!”
BYU Basketball has fun with COVID-19 testing

The best introduction was for Jesse Wade, “Just recently freed…” If you missed it, Wade was stuck in the elevator at the Westin while heading down to the team’s nightly dinner together.
Mark Pope looked like he was ready for some game action with those shoulder bumps.
In a difficult time in society amidst a pandemic, it’s great to see a lighthearted video that can make a taxing daily task a fun video to make folks smile.
I’ve got a feeling this team just swayed a lot of people to change their bracket picks for BYU because of this fun video.
