SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz showed their offensive brilliance on the fastbreak as Donovan Mitchell threw down an alley-oop slam from Jordan Clarkson.
Late in the first quarter against the New Orleans Pelicans, Joe Ingles stole the ball for the Jazz from Brandon Ingram, which led to the fast break alley-oop with Jordan Clarkson throwing up a lob and Donovan Mitchell finishing with a one-handed slam.
The play cut the Pelicans’ lead to 20-18 with 2:55 remaining in the first quarter.

Clarkson finished the first quarter with two rebounds and one assist while missing two field goal attempts, including one three-point attempt. Mitchell had four points in the opening period on 2-of-5 shooting from the floor and 0-for-2 from beyond the arc.
Another great play to check out is Rudy Gobert rejecting a layup from Pelicans star Zion Williamson. It came in the first quarter and kept the score 11-7 in favor of New Orleans with 6:56 left in the quarter.
