The last college football video game was released in 2014, and had former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson on the cover. However, EA Sports stopped producing the video game following a lawsuit settlement with former players who wanted compensation for the use of their rights within the game.
Since 2014, the NCAA has come a long way and will shortly allow players to receive money based on their name and likeness.
The video game found success following a career mode that saw players go from the high school ranks all the way to the college national championship game, football fans could not get enough.
