PROVO, UtahΒ – BYU running back Miles Davis scored his first career touchdown during the Cougars’ game against the North Alabama Lions.

The Cougars hosted the Lions at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, November 21.

During the third quarter, BYU began to play some players two and three deep on the depth chart.

With one second left in the quarter, Davis carried the ball for the six yards and into the end zone for his first touchdown as a member of the BYU football program.

Earlier on the drive, Davis had a seven-yard catch that moved the Cougars into the red zone.

Prior to the season, Davis played receiver but moved to BYU’s backfield during fall camp.

Davis, a true freshman from Las Vegas, Nevada, entered the game with 11 carries for 42 yards and three receptions for 36 yards this season.

The running back’s score stretched BYU’s lead over North Alabama to 56-7.

The game between the Lions vs. Cougars game is broadcast on BYUtv and KSL NewsRadio 102.7 FM and 1160 AM.
