Utah State Announces Signing Of Cedar City Forward Dallin Grant

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah State men’s basketball head coach Craig Smith announced the signing of Cedar City Reds and Exum Elite AAU small forward Dallin Grant to the Utah State Aggies men’s basketball program.
Grant is a 6-foot-8, 210 pound, small forward from Cedar City, Utah.
Smith shared his excitement of Grant’s addition to USU on Wednesday, November 11.
“We are thrilled to announce that Dallin Grant will be joining the Utah State family. Dallin is a high character young man that comes from a great family. We love that he can’t wait to be an Aggie,” Smith said in a statement. “He will add versatility to our program at 6’8”, 210 pounds with his size, athleticism and skill level,” Smith continued. “Dallin makes an impact on the game with his ability to handle the ball, shoot with range and rebound at a high level. His style of play will be a great fit for our program.”

Grant first announced his commitment to Utah State on September 23.

Grant will join an Utah State program that won the Mountain West Conference tourney title in the spring of 2020.
The Class of 2021 prospect was rated as a three-star player by 247Sports.com. According to the site, Grant is the fourth-best player in the state of Utah and No. 253 nationally in this year’s class.
Grant helped the Reds to a 16-6 record in the 2019-20 regular season. Cedar City fell reached the 4A quarterfinals of the state tournament before falling to Desert Hills.
In addition to his recruitment by the Aggies, Grant received interest from BYU, Southern Utah, Stanford, and Utah.
