SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Utah football team kicks off the season Saturday against the University of Arizona.
It will be a season like no other with only seven scheduled games in seven weeks for Pac-12 teams vying for a conference title.
Saturday’s game will be played at Rice Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah with no fans in attendance.

Utah’s season opener is slated to start at 1:30 p.m. MT. It was originally scheduled for 2:00 p.m. MT.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
Utah moved from ESPNU to ESPN2 because the Wisconsin/Purdue game that was originally scheduled for 1:30 p.m. MT on ABC was canceled due to a COVID-19 outbreak. ESPN then bumped Houston/Cincinnati from ESPN2 to ABC.
