BYU Tight End Masen ‘Air’ Wake Hurdles Houston Defenders

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – BYU tight end Masen Wake hurdled a Houston defender during the third quarter of the game between the Cougars and Cougars.
Houston hosted No. 14 BYU at TDECU Stadium on Friday, October 16.
With 2:28 left in the third quarter, BYU quarterback dumped a pass off to Wake who took the ball down the sideline for 19 yards.
As the tight end ran north to south, he leaped over a couple of would-be Houston tacklers.

The reception was Wake’s second of the contest.
After the catch, the tight end had two catches for 34 yards and one carry for -1 yards.

The hurdle is becoming a regular weapon for Wake, who has hurdled during multiple games this season.

The score cut Houston’s lead to 26-21 with 53 second remaining in the third quarter.
