Utah State Announces Safety Protocols For Fans During 2020 Home Games

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah State Athletics announced safety protocols for fans to following during the Aggies’ 2020 home games at Maverik Stadium amid the coronavirus pandemic.
USU released the details of its protocols on Thursday, October 15.
The Aggies’ said that the protocols were created “with the recommendation and guidance from local health experts, the Mountain West Conference, NCAA, and university staff and administration” and that “the health and well-being of the student-athletes, fans and staff are the top priority and will continue to guide these protocols.”
People that are ages two and older will be required to wear a personal face covering – over the nose and mouth – as they arrive, exit, and move throughout the concourse at Maverik Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to download the official Utah State Athletics app to find out more information on stadium policy and fan experience at Maverik Stadium.
The crowd at Maverick Stadium will be limited to 20 percent capacity to begin the season and tickets will be sold on a single-game basis.
Fans attending the contests should be ready to use digital parking validation, mobile ticketing, and cashless payment options at Utah State.
USU said that tickets for each home game will go on sale approximately two weeks before game day. The athletic department also recommends that individuals have their tickets delivered to their mobile phone or emailed via a print-at-home format. Will Call tickets at Maverik Stadium will not be offered.
The Aggies are slated to begin the season on the road against the Boise State Broncos on Saturday, October 24.
Utah State’s first home game is against the San Diego State Aztecs on Saturday, October 31.
