Bentley is entering his first season with the University of Utah football program after transferring from South Carolina in the SEC.
During his three year stint at South Carolina, Bentley posted a 19-14 record which included a 10-7 record against SEC opponents. He ranks second in school history with a 62.5 percent completion percentage and threw for 55 touchdowns which ranks number 2 overall.
Towards the end of the season opener in 2019 against North Carolina, Bentley suffered a Lisfranc injury to his foot which ultimately sidelined him for the remainder of the season. Fortunately, he was granted a medical redshirt year and after graduating in December of 2019 was eligible to transfer and will not have to sit out a year.
Bentley was a two-year team captain and a respected leader of a dangerous South Carolina offense from 2016-19.

The Senior Bowl
The Reese’s Senior Bowl is the most prestigious all-star game and is known for having the best college players attend as they hope to impress numerous NFL scouts prior to the upcoming NFL Draft.
The first game was played in 1950 and involved two teams, representing the North and the South, who are coached by select coaching staffs from two NFL teams.
Prior to the all-star game, the players partake in practices for a week. Interviews and testing are also required for the players to best impress the NFL coaches on offer.
Invitations are sent out to a select group of college players towards the end of the college football season. The invites continue following the conclusion of the college season.
