Jordan Clarkson Drills Three-Pointer In Final Seconds Of First Quarter

ORLANDO, Fla. – Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson made a big three-pointer with 1.1 seconds left the first quarter of Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs.
The three-pointer by Clarkson put them within six points at the end of the first quarter as Denver had a 31-25 lead.
It was Clarkson’s first triple of the game and finished the opening period with 5 points. He carried the momentum from the first quarter with another three-pointer to start the second quarter with the shot clock running out.

Joe Ingles led the Jazz after the first quarter with 7 points, Rudy Gobert added 6 points and Royce O’Neale chipped in a three-pointer. Utah was 10 of 24 from the field and just 3 for 10 from downtown.
Denver was very productive in the first quarter offensively, shooting 11 for 24 from the field and 7 of 14 from beyond the arc.
Nikola Jokic led the way with 10 points and 3 rebounds. Michael Porter Jr. had 6 points off of two three-pointers along with 4 rebounds. Torrey Craig chipped in six points for the Nuggets.
The Jazz are without Mike Conley, who is with his family after the birth of their son on Sunday. Juwan Morgan started in place on Conley to give the Jazz more height and a presence on the perimeter.
