Utah LS Keegan Markgraf Named To Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah football long snapper Keegan Markgraf was named to the Patrick Mannelly Award watch list.
The Patrick Mannelly Award is presented annually to the best FBS senior long snapper in college football.
The award is named after Patrick Mannelly who is widely known as the best long snapper in the modern NFL era. He was taken in the sixth round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears.

Markgraf is one of three Pac-12 long snappers to be named to the watch list. He joined USC long snapper Damon Johnson and Erik Dickerson from Arizona State.
The Hamilton, Ontario native enters his senior year with the Utes. He started all 14 games at short snapper and took over the long snapping duties in the last six games of the 2018 season. Last season, he started all 14 games as the short and long snapper. Markgraf joined the Utes as a transfer from Central Michigan. He did not appear in any games for the Chippewas.
