Major League Soccer’s Latest Round Of COVID-19 Tests Have Zero Positive Cases

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Major League Soccer provided an update with the test results of the latest round of COVID-19 tests.
The league announced that they had 978 tests administered to 884 individuals from July 24-25 at the host hotel in Florida. Out of those tests conducted, zero tested positive for COVID-19.
They tested players, coaches and staff members from the clubs that are participating in the MLS is Back tournament.

The tournament is in the knockout stage and currently in the Round of 16. As of Sunday night, three teams have advanced to the quarterfinals. The Philadelphia Union defeated the New England Revolution 1-0, Orlando City SC beat the Montreal Impact 1-0 and NYCFC battled Toronto FC to a 3-1 win.
Real Salt Lake will face the San Jose Earthquakes on Monday night at 6:30 p.m. on FS1. Seattle Sounders FC and LAFC will clash at 9:00 p.m. on Monday. Portland Timbers and FC Cincinnati will battle on Tuesday night along with the Columbus Crew and Minnesota United clashing.
The winner of RSL and San Jose will face the winner of Columbus and Minnesota in the quarterfinals on Saturday, August 1 at 6:00 p.m. MT on ESPN2.
