Former Utah Jazz Guard Elijah Millsap Joins Dream Big Sports Team For 2020 TBT

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah Jazz guard Elijah Millsap announced that he is joining the Dream Big Sports team for the upcoming 2020 TBT basketball tournament.
Millsap broke the news via the Dream Big Sports Twitter account on Wednesday, May 20.
“My name is Elijah Millsap and I’m excited to announce that I’m joining the Dream Big Sports team in the 2020 TBT,” Millsap said in a video.

Elijah Millsap’s time with the Utah Jazz
Millsap first signed a 10-day contract with Utah on January 5, 2015.
He played in 67 games for the Jazz over the course of the 2014-15 and 2015-16 NBA seasons.
The former Jazz guard averaged 4.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.9 steals during his time with Utah.

On January 5, 2016, the Jazz waived Millsap.
After his time with Utah, Millsap played two games for the Phoenix Suns during the 2016-17 season.
Since 2017, the guard has played overseas and in the NBA G-League.
The 32-year-old guard is the younger brother of former Jazzman Paul Millsap, who was drafted by the Jazz and played for Utah from 2006-2013.
TBT
The Basketball Tournament, also known as “TBT,” is a 64-team summer basketball tournament. TBT teams play for a chance to win $2 million dollars.
In 2019, Salt Lake City hosted a regional of the TBT bracket from July 25-27 at the Maverik Center.
TBT 2020 is currently scheduled to take place from July 23-August 11, 2020.
