Utah Athletics To Hold Virtual Tailgate Before Campus Classics On Pac-12 Network

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Utah athletic department is holding a virtual tailgate on Wednesday evening during the four broadcasts on the Pac-12 Network as a part of “Utah Campus Classics.”
The tailgate will be done virtually beginning at 4 p.m. MT leading up to the beginning of the Campus Classics on the Pac-12 Network. They will re-air four classic games from gymnastics and football.
Fans can sign up for the virtual tailgate, here. If fans are interested, they will want to sign up now as they are limiting the event to 300 people.
Utah will have special guests on the virtual tailgate that includes former quarterback Travis Wilson, defensive end Nate Orchard, defensive back Boobie Hobbs, wide receiver and return specialist Reggie Dunn and current wide receiver Britain Covey. Utes offensive line coach Jim Harding and wide receivers coach Guy Holliday will join the tailgate as well as “Ute Fan Faithful” and Utah famous tailgater “@61_Shasta.”

The Pac-12 Networks will begin airing the classic games at 5 p.m. MT beginning with the 2012 Utah football game against BYU where they beat the Cougars 24-21 at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, September 15.
At 6 p.m. MT, they will show the beat down in Eugene in 2015 when the Utes beat Oregon 62-20 on September 26.
Following that game, the Networks will air the 2017 Pac-12 Gymnastics Championship meet as the Red Rocks took home the conference title. The evening will end with the classic meet at UCLA when Utah beat the Bruins earlier this season with a perfect 10 in the final performance to seal the win. That meet will begin at 9:30 p.m. MT.
