SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Refunds are being offered to Utah Jazz season ticket holders. On Wednesday, an email was sent to purchasers about the new policy. The team had planned to honor season tickets when the games resumed to finish the 2019-20 NBA season.
“Since March, our intent has been to horn your season tickets when the games resumed.” The email said, “Due to the continued uncertainties, the NBA has allowed us to offer our season ticket holders the opportunity for rebounds and credits for the postponed games.”
Fans now have the option to be refunded for the final 10 home games of the regular season. They can also choose to roll their tickets over for the 2020-21 season. The credit can be applied to their payment plan on full or half-season packages.

NBA Hoping To Return To The Floor
Despite uncertainly surrounding the league, the NBA hopes to finish the 2019-20 season. Several options are on the table for the league to finish the season.
Both Las Vegas and the Disney Resorts in Orlando have made facilities available to the league to house players. The remaining games for all teams could be played in one designated location to isolate players from the coronavirus.
Utah Jazz Vice President of Basketball Operations said he was hopeful the league would return this season.
“If the health permits let’s try to come back,” Lindsey said. “I’m all for naming a champion even if it’s a truncated champion. Those teams that are in the midst of playoff chases and championship chases, we want to compete and name a champion.”
The NBA will push the target date for reopening facilities back to May 8.#TakeNotehttps://t.co/7lkofjQEtR

The NBA plans to allow players back into team facilities as soon as this weekend. Once the Zions Bank Basketball Campus is cleared, Jazz players will be allowed back on the practice floor.
Jazz season ticket holders may not be any closer to returning to Vivint Smart Home Arena, though the league may be inching towards a return, Fans will likely be held out of any live sporting events for the immediate future. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the United States leading epidemiologist warned last week that professional sports may not return at all during the 2020 calendar year.
