KSL Sports Front Page: Last Dance Documentary And Utes In The NFL Draft

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – In the latest episode of the KSL Sports Front Page, insiders Ben Anderson and Trevor Allen broke down the top stories at KSLsports.com.
Beginning with ESPN’s “The Last Dance” documentary and finishing with the University of Utah’s draft hopefuls, the two discussed what they learned about Michael Jordan from the documentary and the perfect landing spots for the Utes players who are preparing to go pro.
To open the show, the insiders reflected on their viewing experiencing watching “The Last Dance” and how it may be the closest even to live sports fans have seen since the coronavirus pandemic. With more than six million viewers, the documentary was one of the first truly communal television experiences over the last month and a half.

Another fascinating story to emerge from the documentary was the relationship between former BYU guard and Boston Celtic great Danny Ainge. Ainge and Jordan went golfing the day before game two between the Celtics and Bulls that finished with Jordan’s NBA-record 63 points in the postseason.

From there, the duo moved to NFL draft coverage on the site. The draft begins Thursday night with a slew of Utes expecting to hear their names called.
First, Utah football coaches have been compiling and tweeting out videos of their draft hopefuls leading up to Thursday night.
Allen gathered each of the coaches highlight reels for easy consumption for draft junkies.

Over the last several weeks, Allen has been compiling a list of ideal landing spots for the Ute hopefuls where their careers could flourish in a pro system.
Most recently, Allen highlighted the idea fit for Utes defensive back Julian Blackmon.
