During Fremont’s run to the state championship last month, Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell gave praise to Hall for his play. Mitchell called the future BYU player a “Hooper! In his senior season at Fremont, Hall averaged 22.9 points, 6.8 assists, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game.

During the early signing period, BYU head coach Mark Pope was hoping that there would be another signee and that was believed to be Hall. Hall waited till now to commit and will sign with the Cougars when the regular signing period opens on April 15th.
