Weber State Shoots 4-15 From Distance In Loss To Portland State

OGDEN, Utah – The Weber State men’s basketball team struggled from three-point range in their loss to the Portland State Vikings.
The Wildcats hosted the Vikings at Dee Events Center in Ogden on Saturday, February 29.
Weber State finished the game shooting 50.7 percent overall despite a dismal 4-15 for 26.7 percent from downtown.

The Wildcats’ Cody John, Jerrick Harding, Kham Davis, and KJ Cunningham combined to shoot 2-11 from beyond the arc. Michal Kozak was the only Weber State player to connect on multiple triples by going 2-4 from deep.
Harding led the Wildcats with 20 points on 9-17 field goals. He added 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and a steal but committed 6 turnovers. During the game, Harding moved into third place among all-time scorers in Big Sky Conference history.

Portland State finished the game shooting 44.0 percent from the field and 34.6 percent from three.
The Vikings were led by Holland Woods’ 17 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals.
With the win, Portland State improved to 16-14 on the season and 10-8 in Big Sky Conference games.
Weber State fell for the third time in four games and moved to 11-17 overall and 7-10 in conference play.

The Wildcats’ final home game of the season is against the Idaho State Bengals on Monday, March 2 at 7 p.m. (MDT).
