SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A young Jazz fan called Bojan Bogdanovic’s buzzer-beating three-point shot to lift Utah to victory over the Houston Rockets.
The Jazz defeated the Rockets 114-113 on a Bogdanovic triple at the buzzer at the Toyota Center on Sunday, February 9.
According to Jim Olson, president of the Utah Jazz and Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment, a young Jazz fan named Will, called Bogdanovic’s buzzer-beater in Houston before the Jazz forward buried the shot.

“First of all, I wasn’t supposed to be on the court on the last play with the way I was playing. The coaching staff believes in me and gave me the opportunity to shoot the game-winning shot,” Bogdanovic told Utah Jazz sideline reporter Kristen Kenney after his game-winner. “I know that I am able to hit those shots and at the end of the game, it’s very important for us.”
Bogdanovic connected on the shot from behind the arc over two Houston defenders despite struggling for much of the game.

Bogdanovic’s game-winning three-pointer wasn’t his first. Previously, the Jazz forward gave Utah a win over the Milwaukee Bucks on a shot as time expired on November 8, 2019.
According to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, Bogdanovic is the only NBA player with multiple game-winning shots at the buzzer this season.
