PROVO, Utah – After taking an official visit to BYU over the weekend, Las Vegas High School wide receiver Miles Davis made it official and signed with the Cougars on Signing Day.
Davis had a ceremony along with a teammate at his high school on Wednesday.
In his senior season at Las Vegas High School, Davis had 1,041 receiving yards and 11 touchdown receptions to help lead LV High to a 9-2 record. A lot of Davis’ recruitment consisted of FCS programs offering the under-the-radar receiver.
Programs such as Washington State and Utah State showed interest but did not extend scholarship offers.
Davis has been a target for BYU the past year, but his recruitment picked up again after the Early Signing Period concluded and he had yet to sign with a school.
