SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – This past season, Tyler Huntley and Devonta’e Henry-Cole were teammates. Now they are rivals.
On Saturday evening, Henry-Cole announced that he has committed to BYU after entering the transfer portal on Wednesday.
After announcing his intentions to play for Utah’s rival, Utes quarterback Tyler Huntley sent Henry-Cole a tweet with a laughing emoji along with a GIF of Huntley saying “they so poo-poo.” Huntley made that comment after the Utes beat BYU in Provo in the 2019 season opener.
Huntley will not face Henry-Cole since he is graduating from the University of Utah. Henry-Cole will likely be a graduate transfer for the Cougars after he finishes some classes this semester at Utah.

BYU and Utah will square off in the 2020 season opener at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Thursday, September 3. DHC did not play in the game this past season in Provo but was spotted after the game asking BYU head coach Kalani Sitake if he had a roster spot open for him.
