Wolverines Suffer Setback In Loss To New Mexico State

OREM, Utah – The Utah Valley Wolverines suffered a 14 point loss at home to the New Mexico State Aggies.
UVU struggled to score against the New Mexico State and lost 70-56 at the UCCU Center on Thursday, January 16.
Isaiah White’s 16 points and Cody Jardine’s 10 points weren’t enough to support Utah Valley’s offense. No other Wolverine players scored in double figures against the Aggies.

The Wolverines shot 40.4 percent on field goals and 26.3 percent from behind the arc.
New Mexico outshot UVU going 44.9 from the field and 37.9 percent on triples.
Three Aggie players scored 13 points or more in the WAC matchup.
Utah Valley fell to 7-12 on the season and 1-3 in conference games.

The Aggies improved to 13-6 overall and a perfect 4-0 in conference play.
UVU is back on the court on Saturday, January 18 when they host UT Rio Grande Valley at 2 p.m. (MDT).
