Harding Suffers Injury In Weber State’s Loss To Eastern Washington

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State guard Jerrick Harding suffered an injury in the final minute of Weber State’s loss to the Eastern Washington Eagles.
Harding went down in the final minute of the game between the Eagles and Wildcats on Saturday, December 28.
The Weber State star fell to the court and grabbed his lower leg. He exited the court with 10.5 seconds remaining in the second half.

The Wildcats crawled back from down double digits during in the final minutes of the game but weren’t able to overcome the Eagles and lost 79-77.

Harding led the Wildcats with 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. He was 10-20 on field goals and 2-8 from three-point range.

Cody John added 15 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals in the loss.

Eastern Washington was led by Kim Aiken Jr. who posted 22 points on 7-15 shooting. He was 4-9 on shots from behind the arc. The Eagles’ forward added 7 boards, a steal, and a block.

With the result, Weber State fell to 4-8 on the season and 0-1 in the Big Sky Conference. The Eagles picked up their eighth win of the year and improved to 8-4 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
The Wildcats host the Idaho Vandals on Monday, December 30 at 7 p.m. (MDT).
