MIAMI, Fla. – Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert decided to throw down a one-handed dunk on top of Miami Heat center Meyers Leonard.
In the third quarter, Joe Ingles went around a screen that was set by Gobert in the pick-and-roll, when Ingles entered the paint and dumped the ball off to Gobert, who dunked over Leonard with his right hand.
The dunk gave Gobert his 10th point of the game and another double-double as he had 13 rebounds at the time. The Jazz trailed the Heat 61-60 after the jam.

That dunk could have been some redemption for Gobert from the second quarter when Heat forward Derrick Jones Jr. drove into the lane and dunked over Gobert with two hands.

Gobert is facing a young big man Bam Adebayo, who is on the shortlist for the NBA’s Most Improved Player Award. Adebayo is known for his athletic ability and is a great rim protector. Through three quarters, Gobert was winning the battle with Adebayo as Gobert had 10 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks, while Adebayo recorded 6 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks.
