Donovan Mitchell Soars Over Nikola Vucevic For Big Slam Dunk
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell decided to take the ball inside and used his athletic leaping ability and soared over Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic and finishing with a big dunk.
It was his 24th point of the game and put the Jazz within 5 points with 4:31 left in the game. The Jazz had a 17 point lead in the third quarter before the Magic went on a 33-8 run. That dunk from Mitchell sparked an 11-1 run.
The rest of the run featured a big three-pointer by Bojan Bogdanovic and a floating shot in the lane by Mitchell. Bogdanovic gave the Jazz the lead back with a pull-up jump shot.
Mitchell finished with 30 points with 10 points coming in the fourth quarter. It’s his seventh 30-point game this season. Bogdanovic added 28 points to help the Jazz get back into the game. The Jazz had Mike Conley back for the first time after missing the last five games with a hamstring injury. Early in the fourth quarter, he was ruled out for the rest of the game with the same injury.
