SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz played beautiful team basketball in the third quarter when all five players on the floor touched the ball and moved it around the three-point line, leading to a triple by Donovan Mitchell in the corner.
It started with Mitchell driving into the lane and when the Orlando Magic stopped him at the rim, Mitchell threw the ball in between two defenders to Bojan Bogdanovic in the corner, who passed to his right to Royce O’Neale on the angle, who passed it to Joe Ingles on the right angle, who fired it to Mitchell for a wide open three pointer.
That three was in the middle of an 11-0 run for the Jazz that put them up 66-56 with 6:32 left in the third quarter.

Utah eventually inflated their lead to 18 points late in the quarter and took a 82-71 advantage into the fourth quarter. It was Mitchell’s second triple of the game and his 20th point. At that point in the contest, four players reached double figures in scoring, joining Bogdanovic with 18 points, Ingles with 14 and Rudy Gobert’s 12.
The Jazz are back to full health with the return of Mike Conley, who missed the last five games with a hamstring injury. Utah head coach Quin Snyder decided to change the starting lineup with Conley and Mitchell in the backcourt, alongside Ingles, Bogdanovic and Gobert.
