Miller Drills 6 Three’s In Aggies Blowout Win Over Saint Katherine

LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies had five players score in double figures to get by Saint Katherine 94-49 at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
Brock Miller led the Aggies with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, while shooting 8-22 from the field and 6-19 from downtown. Diogo Brito added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals. He shot 5-11 from the field and 2-4 from beyond the arc.
It was a game that was never close as the Aggies started on a 12-0 run and went on to outscore Saint Katherine 49-25 in the first half and 45-24 in the second half.
The Aggies didn’t have the services of Sam Merrill and Neemias Queta. Both should be available for their next game against BYU on Saturday.

Justin Bean notched a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds, along with 4 assists and 3 blocks in just 18 minutes of the floor. Alphonso Anderson chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds.
As a team, the Aggies shot 45 percent from the field, 38 percent from the perimeter and 75 percent at the free throw line. They outrebounded Saint Katherine 63-28, including 23 second chance points.
Utah State improved their record to 10-1 on the season. They will face the BYU Cougars at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Saturday evening in the Beehive Classic. Tip-off is at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on BYU TV and KSL Newsradio.
