LOGAN, Utah – According to Yahoo! college football writer Dan Wetzel, Utah State quarterback Jordan Love is deciding between entering the NFL Draft or become a graduate transfer.
If reports are true, Love will not return to Utah State regardless of his decision to stay in college for his senior year or not.
According to Wetzel, if Love decides to transfer, he is choosing between Houston, Texas Tech and Oklahoma.
If he doesn't enter the NFL Draft, Utah State QB Jordan Love is contemplating a grad transfer, per source. Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Houston all possible destinations. No decision made. NFL Draft grade will weigh heavily.

If Love decides to transfer to Texas Tech, he will be reunited with former Utah State head coach Matt Wells and offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach David Yost. When the two were in Logan last season, they helped Love to a record breaking season with Utah State and put his name on the radar of NFL scouts. In 2018, Love set five single season school records, including 32 touchdown passes, 3,567 passing yards, seven 300-yard passing games, 234 points responsible for and being named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week five times.
At Oklahoma, they are currently in the College Football Playoff with Alabama graduate transfer Jalen Hurts. The departure of Hurts after this season will open up a quarterback competition for the Sooners and Love would thrive under Lincoln Riley’s offense.
At Houston, they currently have sophomore Clayton Tune as the quarterback who was the most productive. The Cougars could be a possibility if they want a very talented quarterback to help them through a successful season. This season, Houston finished with a 4-8 record.
