Utes Drop Six Spots In Final College Football Playoff Rankings

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Utes dropped six spots from No. 5 to No. 11 in the final College Football Playoff rankings.
The Utes are coming off of a 37-15 loss to then-No. 13 Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Friday night.
Win the win over Utah, Oregon moved up from No. 13 to No. 6. They will face No. 8 Wisconsin the Rose Bowl.
It’s the 30th week that they have appeared in the CFP rankings since the Playoff began in 2014. That is the sixth most in the country behind Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma and LSU.

The College Football Playoff committee already released the top four teams that will compete in the Playoff for a National Championship. LSU, Ohio State, Clemson and Oklahoma will play for the title.
