ATLANTA, Ga. – New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill celebrated a Thanksgiving Day victory with his teammates as well as a turkey leg after he was honored with a game ball.

Hill was featured on NBC’s postgame show following the Saints’ 26-18 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, November 28.

The third-string New Orleans QB stood alongside Drew Bree, Cam Jordan, and other teammates eating turkey legs after the win on Thanksgiving Day. Hill was one of the three New Orleans’ players to be honored with a game ball for their performance against the Falcons.

The former BYU quarterback scored 14 of the Saints’ points in the eight-point victory.

Hill opened the game with a blocked punt and touchdown reception. Late in the first half, the New Orleans’ backup entered the game in place of Brees and ran for a 30-yard touchdown.

He finished the game with 0/1 passing but carried the ball 3 times for 33 yards and a touchdown. He also added 2 receptions for 12 yards and a TD.

The Saints moved to 10-2 on the season with the win. The victory clinched New Orleans the NFC South division title.
