BYU WR Micah Simon Makes Spectacular One-Handed Catch

PROVO, Utah – BYU wide receiver Micah Simon made a highlight-reel worthy one-handed catch during the Cougars’ game against the Idaho State Bengals.
Unfortunately for Simon and BYU, the snag didn’t count due to a holding penalty.
Simon’s negated catch came in the first quarter of BYU’s game on Saturday, November 16.
The wide receiver reeled in a deep throw from quarterback Zach Wilson that was called back due to a holding penalty by BYU OL Chandon Herring.

Simon’s one-handed grab didn’t count but he did snag 5 catches for 36 yards in the first half.
He entered the game with 32 receptions for 418 yards and 2 touchdowns in 2019.

The Cougar receiver also ran the ball 3 times for 34 yards and a touchdown in the first half.

Simon and BYU led the Bengals 28-3 at halftime.
