SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – It’s going to be a play that Jazz fans will see often this season. Point guard Mike Conley went around a Rudy Gobert screen, when the big man rolled to the bucket, Conley threw a lob to Gobert, who dunked the ball over Brooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen.

Gobert was fouled after finishing the dunk over Allen and it put the Jazz within one point of the Nets in the first quarter.

After the first quarter, the Jazz trailed 35-29. Conley had two points and one assist, Gobert recorded 7 points and 6 rebounds. In their 122-108 win over the Golden State Warriors on Monday night, Gobert led the Jazz with 25 points and 14 rebounds, while shooting 11-of-12 from the field. Conley added 22 points and 7 assists.

It looked like Conley and Gobert found their stride in the win over the Warriors. In the third quarter, Conley assisted Gobert on three baskets, two of those assists were alley-oops.
