SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Utah Jazz point guard Mike Conley needed to get a shot off before the shot clock expired, so he heaved a three-quarter-court shot against the Golden State Warriors.
In the first quarter, Conley tried to pass to Bojan Bogdanovic in the corner for a three-pointer as the shot clock was winding down. The Warriors deflected the ball that traveled into the backcourt and went out of bounds on the opposite baseline.

When the Jazz had the ball back, they had two seconds left on the shot clock, leaving him no choice but to heave a shot from the opposite three-point line.
That was Conley’s first bucket of the night. Entering the game against the Warriors, Conley is averaging 13.6 points and 3.6 assists, while shooting 35 percent from the field and 33 percent from downtown.
It’s the first time that the Jazz are visiting the Golden State Warriors in their brand new arena, Chase Center that was built in San Francisco, relocating the team from Oakland to San Francisco.
