PROVO, Utah – In recent BYU football seasons, the Cougar’s mascot Cosmo has become a viral sensation for his dance moves.
On Saturday night, during the first quarter of BYU’s game against Liberty, Cosmo showed off his moves once again.
Cosmo danced the night away with BYU’s National Champion dance squad, the Cougarettes to old-school hip-hop songs ranging from Low by FloRida, Pretty Boy Swag by Soulja Boy, and Crank That from the aforementioned Soulja Boy.

Want the most ridiculous stat to fulfill your BYU fandom needs? Saturday night’s win against Liberty was BYU’s first victory in a game that featured a Cosmo dance performance with the Cougarettes. Take that to the water cooler.
Wherever BYU finds these Cosmo’s is anyone’s guess but these people can dance.
Cosmo’s Viral Dancing History
Two years ago, Cosmo broke out on the scene with his dancing skills by performing to the song, “Rolex.” The performance went viral and it led to the artists of the song, Ayo & Teo to perform with Cosmo the following winter at a BYU Basketball game.
Last year, Cosmo got up in his feelings and danced to songs by Drake.
Which performance from Cosmo is your favorite? The BYU football team would probably say Saturday night’s because it came during a victory.
