Locals In NFL: Bobby Wagner Has 11 Tackles, Sack In Seahawks OT Win

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah State Aggies linebacker Bobby Wagner posted a great performance for the Seattle Seahawks in their overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He contributed 11 tackles and a sack in the victory.
Here is how all of the players with ties to the state of Utah fared during week nine of the NFL.
Former Utes
Star Lotulelei, DT, Buffalo Bills (6-2)
Lotulelei started at defensive tackle and picked up one tackle in the Bills’ 24-9 win over the Washington Redskins.

Devontae Booker, RB, Denver Broncos (3-6)
Booker hauled in his first catch of the season for a 14-yard gain. He also had one kick return for 32 yards in the Broncos’ 24-19 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Garett Bolles, OL, Denver Broncos (3-6)
Bolles started at left tackle and participated in all 50 snaps on offense in the Broncos’ win over the Browns.

Sam Tevi, OL, Los Angeles Chargers (4-5)
The former Ute started at right tackle and played in 20 snaps on offense due to a knee injury. The Chargers beat the Green Bay Packers, 26-11.

Eric Weddle, S, Los Angeles Rams (5-3)
Weddle and the Rams had a bye this past week.

Eric Rowe, CB, Miami Dolphins (1-7)
Rowe picked up four tackles as the Dolphins win their first game of the season. They beat the New York Jets, 26-18.

Marcus Williams, S, New Orleans Saints (7-1)
Williams and the Saints had a bye this past week.

Mitch Wishnowsky, P, San Francisco 49ers (8-0)
Wishnowsky punted the ball five times for 231 yards. He averaged 46.2 yards per attempt and his longest punt traveled 50 yards. Three of his five punts landed inside the 20-yard line in the 49ers’ 28-25 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football.

Marquise Blair, S, Seattle Seahawks (7-2)

Cody Barton, LB, Seattle Seahawks (7-2)

Takitaki played 18 snaps on special teams and had one tackle as the Browns lost to the Denver Broncos.

The former Cougar had four tackles, including one key tackle-for-loss in the fourth quarter in the Chiefs’ 26-23 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
