Utah Valley Wins Exhibition Over College Of Idaho

OREM, Utah – The Utah Valley men’s basketball team defeated the College of Idaho in UVU’s only exhibition game of the preseason.

The Wolverines defeated the visiting Coyotes 59-42.

UVU was led by Trey Woodbury who scored 18 points in the win.

The Wolverines’ Isaiah White posted a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Brandon Morley added 14 points to UVU’s total.

Utah Valley forced the Coyotes into 18 turnovers.

The Wolverines will look to work on their shooting as they struggled from the field on Friday night. They shot 36.8 percent on field goals including 2-21 on threes.

Nate Bruneel led the Coyotes with 7 points and 3 rebounds in the loss.

Utah Valley opens the regular season on November 5 when they host Westminster. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 7 p.m. (MDT). The game will be broadcast on the WAC Digital Network and 960 AM.
