Mitchell Throws Alley-Oop To Gobert, Duo Leads Jazz In First Half

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Donovan Mitchell drove towards the basket, drew two defenders to him, and tossed the basketball over them and into the hands of Rudy Gobert for an alley-oop dunk against the Los Angeles Clippers. The duo led the Jazz with 18 first half points vs. the Clips.
The Jazz guard led Utah with 10 points. Gobert added eight.
Mitchell and Gobert put the Jazz up 52-51 at halftime over the Western Conference foe on Wednesday, October 30.
The alley-oop was one of the main highlights from the first 24 minutes at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

The Clippers slowed Mitchell down in the second quarter allowing him to make only one field goal after he posted and an 8 point first quarter.
Mitchell added two rebounds and an assist.
Gobert was impressive in the first two quarters and threw down a couple of dunks on his way to shooting 3-3 on field goals.

The Jazz center added a rebound and a block in the first half.
Bojan Bogdanovic added nine points and a rebound.
The Clippers fought back from a 14 point deficit to make it a one-point game at the break. Lou Williams led all scorers with 16 points.
