PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Utah Jazz were in need of a bucket in the fourth quarter when Bojan Bogdanovic gave his new team a lift with a powerful slam dunk.

With under six minutes left, Bogdanovic was given the ball on the left wing when he drove the ball past Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker for a slam dunk with his right hand over Kelly Oubre. “Bogey” had 23 points in the game.

The play trimmed the Jazz deficit to 83-79.

On the next offensive possession, Bogdanovic nailed his fourth three-pointer of the game at the top of the arc for his 26th point.

The game against the Suns was very ugly with both teams combining for 36 turnovers (Jazz 22, Suns 14) and 52 fouls.

Bogdanovic and Mitchell were the only two Jazz players in double figures in scoring as they reached over 20 points each.

At the time of the dunk and the three-pointer in the fourth quarter, the Jazz forward had 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, while shooting 7-of-12 from the field, 4-for-8 from downtown and 8-for-8 from the free throw line.

He had 11 points in the first quarter of this game, continuing his hot play after scoring 26 points in their win over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
