Utes Move Up In Poll, BYU Win Drops Boise State 8 Spots

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – After Utah’s 21-3 victory over Arizona State, the Utes have moved up one spot in the latest AP Top 25 poll to No. 12 in the country. Boise State dropped in the poll following a loss at BYU.
Utah’s then No. 13 ranked team completely shut down Arizona State’s offense and held the Sun Devils to only three points on Saturday, October 19.
The win bumped the 6-1 Utes up from No. 13 to No. 12 in the latest poll.

The Utes are the second highest-ranked team from the Pac-12 Conference. Oregon, who is also 6-1 on the season, is ranked 11th.
BYU defeated No. 14 Boise State 28-25 at home on Saturday night. The Cougars moved to a 3-4 record with the win.

The Broncos were handed their first loss of the season and fell to No. 22 in the Top 25. Boise State is the only ranked team from the Mountain West Conference. They are now the fourth highest-ranked team from the Group of 5. SMU, Cincinnati, and Appalachian State are ahead of BSU in the latest poll.

Utah hosts California in their next game. The Utes will kick off against the Bears on Saturday, October 26 at 8 p.m. (MDT). The game will be televised on the FS1. It will also be available on the radio at 700 AM.
Utah State’s next opponent is Air Force. The Aggies will head on the road to face the Falcons on Saturday at 8:15 p.m. The game will be aired on ESPN2.
BYU has a bye week before heading up to Logan to take on the Aggies in a rivalry game on November 2.
