Weber State’s Josh Davis Runs All Over NAU For School Record

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State running back Josh Davis exploded for 328 rushing yards against the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks in the Wildcats 51-28 win. Davis broke the school’s single-game rushing record with his performance.
Davis added four touchdowns against the Lumberjacks in the game played Saturday, October 19.
The fourth-ranked Wildcats scored 21 points in the final quarter to beat NAU 51-28.

Davis recorded the fifth-most rushing yards in a game in Big Sky Conference history. It was also the most rushing yards by any player in college football so far in the 2019 season.
The Wildcat running back scored a touchdown in every quarter of Saturday’s victory.

Fellow Weber State RB Kris Jackson also added 111 yards and 3 touchdowns in the ground attack.
Weber State moved to a 5-2 (3-0) record with the win. It was their fourth straight victory. Their only losses have come against FBS opponents in San Diego State and Nevada.
