SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Utes star defensive end Bradlee Anae picked up his second sack of the game against Arizona State, forcing the Sun Devils to punt instead of kicking a field goal.
Anae leads the team with six sacks on the season after getting to Arizona State quarterback Jayden Daniels twice.
Utah’s defense has limited the Sun Devils through the first three quarters, allowing just 76 yards of total offense, 15 passing yards and 61 on the ground.

Anae has 23 career sacks, which is eighth most in school history.
Utah had a 14-3 lead in the third quarter when Utes quarterback Tyler Huntley threw his first interception of the season after going 149 pass attempts without a pick. The turnover set Arizona State up in field goal range but Utah’s defense stopped the field goal from happening.
The Utes have held Daniels in check, completing just two of his 11 pass attempts for 15 yards and one interception.
To that point in the game, Utah had four turnovers, three fumbles and an interception but the defense has allowed just three points.
